Portable Appliance Testing

To comply with the Electricity at Work Act 1989 all portable appliances fitted with a plug should be periodically tested for electrical safety.

On completion a full detailed test inventory is produced complete with a complience certificate.

BS 7671 : Fixed Wiring Test & Inspection Reports

What does this entail?

To comply with the Electricity at Work Act 1989 the fixed wiring installation should be inspected and tested every 5 years with detailed reports being produced in accordance with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.

All boards and circuits are vigorously tested, and the Main earthing / bonding inspected throughout to ensure full compliance.



Thermograghic Electrical Survey & Report

At APPLETEST we carry out full Thermal Image Report and Survey for Electrical systems / circuits both for Insurance purposes and preventive maintenance programs.

Electrical systems and components deteriorate and fail over time resulting in potential risks of circuit shut down, plant failure and at worst FIRE.

A full Thermographic Electrical Report will provide, through heat image camera photographs, any potential hazards form circuits / connections showing hot spots due to loose contacts, age or other…
